My name is Yessica Rivera. I am 20 years old and I am a student at Santa Rosa junior college. I am currently working to get my AA in Sociology. I am a very fun and outgoing person. I love to read and go on hikes. I also like to be involved in my community I do that by Volunteering as well as being a Big Sister for, Big Brother Big Sister program.

After working/ volunteering at Kids Club for five years I have developed a lot of experience. Working with children takes patients, contribution, communication and responsibilities, all skills that I have learned and can provide. While working at the program I have learned a lot about what I am be capable of doing such as, being a good leader, being able to resolve as well as prevent problems, work with others, as well as always putting the kids first before anything else. Besides working at Kids Club, I am also a personal tutor providing help with schoolwork and projects. Working at both jobs I have learned to work with big groups as well as individuals and being able to work with kids with diverse backgrounds and respecting their beliefs.
