My name is Yosmary Marte. I am currently a full time student at Fordham University. I ended school May 9th and will have my summer free until July 28th. I have a lot of experience working with kids and my resume shows that, which I can provide. I have worked at a company called Read Alliance where I would tutor kids. I am also currently a baby sitter for a couple, but they only call me once a month during weekends. I have also worked for another couple with two kids and two dogs. I am very responsible and patient, as I have worked as a camp counselor with 10-15 students to care for. I am currently majoring in Psychology to become a clinical child psychologist. I also have a lot of younger cousins who I assist with homework and other projects. I love to be outdoors and love sports. In high school I played soccer, volleyball and softball and always choose to go to the park with the children if a possibility. I have also cared for 2 kids at a time for a couple and have a lot of experience managing 2 kids together.
Moreover, I have worked for my current employer for now 3 years and have never had any problems. I am always on time and follow all the directions that I am given. She also referred me to work for her best friend, to whom I also sporadically work for. The child I currently take care of is 4 years old and we are constantly playing games and finding things to do in doors, since the currently work late nights during the weekends. I also have some experience working with autistic kids as I took care of my neighbor’s child every Saturday for about 2 months. Also, I worked as a mother’s helper for 19 month old twins, but they only need my help once a week for an hour.
I am a native Spanish speaker and do light house cleaning.
