I have my B.S. from the University of Connecticut and am currently pursuing my M.F.A. from Columbia University. I was born and raised in Connecticut, a few miles from my Uncles dairy farm. I was fortunate to have been raised by a loving family that fostered community, and respect for others. Throughout college and my professional career I have cared for children (newborn – teenagers). My roles include: babysitter, nanny, kids club gym attendant , mothers helper, and high-school volleyball coach. I truly believe in raising children to be kind, compassionate, respectful and to feel empowered. I believe in honest, and consistent communication with parents/guardians about the childs health, well-being, care, and goal-setting. I want to be an extension of the childs parent/family and always strive to leave a positive impact no matter how long our time together. Lastly I am CPR & First Aid certified!
