Greetings parents! My name is Sam, I am a recent graduate of Syracuse University (Go Orange). I finished Cum Laude with a BFA in Studio Arts and a minor in Entrepreneurship. I hail from the trendy city of Hudson NY. I moved to Chinatown right after graduation and am thrilled to be starting my adult, postgrad life! Im adopted and an only child. I have an extremely close relationship with my parents (two artists). Family is the most important thing to me. Ive always been passionate about helping and making others happy. Im organized, enthusiastic, creative, and hardworking. I got my first job at the age of 13. It was working at a kid’s art camp. I worked and taught there for 10 years and loved it. I learned how brilliant and undervalued kids really are. Over time, I worked my way up there each summer, starting at the lowest position (intern) and ending in the highest position (Studio Instructor) where I mentored interns (ages 15-17) and created weekly lesson plans for age groups ranging from 4-13 years old. I learned just how different those ages can be and created my own system of how to interact with them. I absolutely adore kids of all ages and am very excited to be a parent one day. I understand that parenting is a full time job, so if I can help lessen the pressure and worries even a little bit for a family, that would feel amazing!
