Hello! My name is Milenka, I’m 21 years old, and I’m a student at New York University with lots of free space in my schedule. I have experience working with children as a language immersion instructor and camp counsellor at Concordia Language Villages in Bemidji, MN, where I facilitated learning, arts and crafts classes, fun activities, and cared for children ages 6 to 18 for 24 hours a day. I also worked as an extracurricular art program facilitator at Uncommon Collegiate high school in Brooklyn, NY, and I periodically babysat my art teacher’s children (a 7-year old and 11-year old) throughout high school. As a babysitter, I can engage children with arts and crafts activities, musical activities, baking activities (such as easy bread and pastry making), and I can also help with remote learning and homework completion after school. I am fluent in English, Czech, and Norwegian, and am proficient in Spanish so I can use any of these languages with children. I also have experience caring for cats and dogs, so I would be happy to include some light pet care in my sitting. I look forward to meeting you and your family!
