My name is Melissa – I’m 30 and have been working with children for almost 20 years (4 mo – teens). I am very energetic, playful, caring, and responsible. I graduated from Drew University in New Jersey with a BA in Behavioral Science (concentration in Psychology, Sociology, and Anthropology). I’m very artistic, encourage children to use their imagination, and prefer scavenger hunts and relay races over TV time.

Below is my experience with children:

Camp Counselor (6 summers): 4-6 year old girls

Babysitter (18 years): infants – teenagers

Special needs caregiver (20+ years): including Autism, OCD, ADHD, Asperger’s Syndrome

Live-out nanny (1 summer): 4 and 7 year olds

Resident Assistant (2 years): I was responsible for the health and well being of 50+ college students per year

Dance assistant teacher (4 years): 4-10 year olds

Party planner/entertainer (3 years): many ages
