My name is Maya McGinnity and I am a freshman in college. I’m an older sister to two younger brothers and have previously been a babysitter for a private family for 3 years. I was a student teacher in my senior year of high school at a Preschool located on the upper east side of Manhattan. At the preschool I assisted and at times led afternoon learning activities. I also engaged in recess games with the children and was in charge of snacks during snack time. I love working with children and am ready to engage in whatever activity thrown at me. I am currently a pre-med student and hope to become a pediatrician. I am fluent in Spanish and can cook fairly well. I am also willing to help with homework if needed given that I have previously tutored middle schoolers at School of the Future.
