I started babysitting in high school as a way to save up for college – I come from a really small, tight-knit town in Westchester, NY and it was a great way to not only connect with the larger community but also with each and every child I babysat. It was a great opportunity to be a positive role model for a child. Now that I am at Columbia University, I have continued working with children from the ages of 3 to 14. I am NYS-EMT certified and CPR-certified as well.
