Hi, I’m (Jon) Elliot!

Currently, as an undergrad at NYU Gallatin, I study art and science pretty broadly — though my interests primarily lie in architecture, design, and philosophy. I consider myself to be involved in the fashion scene as well, where you’ll find me at shows and events with friends!

Throughout high school, I babysat for multiple families in my hometown of Chicago. With Hephzibah Children’s Association in Oak Park, I mentored and tutored local children at after school and summer care programs; in their Big Sibling program, I made a long-term commitment to a previously neglected and abused child who lived in a local group home. The diversity in these experiences has made me an adaptable caretaker.

As I stay in the city for the summer, I’m looking to put this experience to use — I find my time with kids revitalizing, and benefit from typically more flexible hours. I’ll be patient, open-minded, and fun, but responsible. I cook, I clean, I entertain (sans electronics), you name it!
