Hi! My name is Jardae DuBois Marshall and I am 29 years old and I was born and raised in the Big Apple. I have extensive childcare experience, but more importantly I have goals of working with children as my long term career. I currently have my own mentoring program " More than a Mentor". I had an old camera that I was no longer using and I decided to give it to a little girl I knew in my neighborhood. I began taking her and her younger sister to the park teaching them how to take photographs. Shortly after I met their other younger siblings and I began my program.

I spend my personal time mentoring and motivating these young children. I take them into the city to museums and to participate in other activities. I tutor them with their school work. I spend quality time connecting with them building life long bonds.

I take the responsibility of caring for children very seriously and I am dedicated to enhancing the lives of all the children I care for. I believe that the role of a baby sitter/nanny is a very important role in a childs life and the time that you spend with each child has an immediate influence on their development. I understand the needs of children and I understand how important it is to be patient because they are learning and growing. Children need constant love and care in order to develop properly and I love making children aware of how special they are.

I love to help enhance any and every interest or talent that a child may possess and I always look for new ones to bring out to shine. I also create my own activities and learning games for us to play.

Aside from Childcare I also spend my spare time working on my photography. I also like to write and I have goals of publishing poetry, motivational and Illustrated Children’s books. I would also love to expand my Mentoring program and eventually turn it into a non profit organization geared towards Motivating Inspiring and Supporting Young Intelligent Creative Children.
