Hi. My name is Deirdre. I am a College Educated Nanny with a Diploma in Elementary Education specialising in Montessori Education. I also received a Diploma in Special Needs Assistant and took a learning course about Art Therapy. I have over 20 years working with children of all ages. The education, experience, and training I have, has given me the knowledge and awareness to provide an environment to help the child achieve optimum growth in all stages of their development: physically, intellectually, language, emotional, and socially. The interaction I have with parents, and the individual observations I make daily on the child, help me develop the tools I need for the child to learn in an environment that caters to their individual needs. I assist the child in focusing on the potential that lies within them, to become all they can be. I believe in each child and present them opportunities of hands-on learning through independent choices to obtain the confidence and patience to succeed in life.
