I love working in childcare because it gives me the chance to witness children grow, learn, and come into their own. Theres something truly special about helping them discover new thingswhether its a new word, a creative way to solve a problem, or simply seeing them light up with excitement over something theyre passionate about. Every day is different, and I find real joy in being a part of that journey. My childcare philosophy centers around creating an open-minded, inclusive environment where children feel safe, valued, and encouraged to express themselves. In terms of experience, Ive had the privilege of working with children of all ages, including those with moderate Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). This has deepened my understanding of every childs unique needs and communication styles. Ive developed strategies like visual schedules and sensory-friendly activities to support them effectively. While I connect well with children of all ages, Ive found I have a particularly strong connection with preteensI often take on an older sister role, creating a space where they feel comfortable, understood, and supported in ways they may not always feel with adults.
