Hey there! I’m Ben, a proud native New Yorker and college student ready to bring my enthusiasm for childcare to Sitter City. Though my official babysitting experience has been sporadic, I’ve had some amazing opportunities working with children. I spent two summers at Lenox Hill Early Childhood Center, where I had the joy of working with 4-5-year-olds, including those with various forms of special needs. Additionally, I spent two summers at JCC Manhattan’s Camp Settoga, where I had a blast engaging with energetic 6-year-olds. As a head camp bus counselor, I was responsible for children of all ages, from 4 to 12. While I don’t have any specific certifications, my experience with special needs children has given me invaluable insights and a compassionate approach to childcare. Moreover, my love for music and sports brings an extra element of fun and creativity to the time I spend with kids. In addition, I am more than capable of teaching your kids how to play guitar, if that is something of interest. I look forward to hearing from you!
