Some of my favorite childhood memories involve hours spent in imaginative playcrafting, baking, and making up stories that I recorded on my first video camera. Dressing up as pirates, princesses, cows, and aliens, my siblings and I developed our imaginations and paved the way for the collaboration and creative thinking that fuel the type of innovation important to colleges and businesses of all types today.

I am a December 2019 graduate of Oklahoma City University with a BFA in Acting. Through college, I ran my own business, taking headshots and creating audition videos for fellow students. I also worked as a party princess at childrens birthday parties and events.

While in high school, I was a camp counselor for theater summer camps, working with kids ages 3-18. As a camp assistant, I helped the campers as they learned dances and lines, but an even bigger part was making sure each child was having fun, developing skills to improve their self-confidence, and learning life skills that would help them outside of the theater environment.

I also developed the summer film camp curriculum and directed the execution of the curriculum for Lets Make a Movie Camp and Lets Make a Music Video Camp, which was rewarding because I was able to see the growth in storytelling skills in my students, as well as their pride in mastering a new skill. Family friends whose children are interested in the arts have enlisted my help with audition prep for their children who are eager to do theater but must first face their anxiety in order to audition. In my professional theater experiences, I am the cast member the younger kids gravitate toward because Im always willing to sit and listen or participate in a silly game.

I love dogs, and I have experience caring for pets while friends and neighbors are on vacation. My family has three dogs, and my own dog, Iris, moved with me to New York. She is extremely social, loves people, and enjoys playing at the park. (Should a job require overnights or travel, I would request that Iris be allowed to come with me, or that I am paid additional funds to cover the cost of a dog sitter for her.)

I have the Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED certification through the American Red Cross, and I have completed their online Advanced Child Care Training. I have a sister with a severe food allergy and asthma, so I have experience with appropriate safety and first aid interventions.
