Hi everyone! I am between jobs as a sports reporter right now looking to pick up some full- or part-time babysitting or nanny jobs when I return to New York. I have been in California for the summer working as a nanny for a 3-year-old girl and now a newborn girl as well.

I started babysitting half of my neighborhood from about the time I was in sixth grade. I worked my way through college working with kids as a cheerleading instructor and gymnastics teacher. I was the director of pre-team and team matriculation for a YMCA gymnastics center in San Diego for three years. I also taught swimming lessons and worked as a lifeguard, so I do have some basic safety knowledge and I’m great with kids who love sports and being active.

My last full-time nanny job was nine years ago for a film industry family in Los Angeles, so it has been some time but I was able to pick up where I left off this summer (2020). My responsibilities included daycare pickups and dropoffs, swimming lesson dropoffs and supplementary swimming lessons, making lunches/dinners, helping with potty training and some educational lessons with pre-K numbers and letters lessons. My responsibilities occasionally extended through bedtime as an overnight babysitter.

I’m happy to help with anything from distance learning to meals. I do not have a car, but I do have a driver’s license and am comfortable driving children. I’m also great with pets.
