To whom it may concern,
My reason for seeking employment in the nanny- child care profession is because I love children. I am twenty-one years old and was attending William Paterson University but had to take time off due to family reasons. A little bit about myself is I have a twin sister and from a very young I had to always look out for my sister even though she is the older twin. From making lunches, to making sure we took the correct bus stop to get to school, to cooking dinner, cleaning and laundry. I have always been very independent and mature for my age. A couple of courses I took in high school were some early childhood development classes, where we had children ages 2-5 come in and we had to prepare them for pre- school/ kindergarten. After taking that course in high school really developed my love for children and seeing them grow and prosper, so after high school I substituted at a couple of schools with children with special needs to broaden my experience. My half-brother and cousin both have different forms of Autism, so it was a wonderful experience working with children with special needs and helping them grow and learn. I have my own vehicle and have been driving for five years now. I would really appreciate the consideration and would be a very hard worker taking care of your children.
