Hello! My name is Marijke! I’m a musicals-loving, finger-painting, national parks nerd with over 9 years of childcare experience ranging from infant care to childhood education and nannying. I graduated from NYU Tisch with a BFA in Drama, and a deeply-rooted passion for children’s theatre, and childhood arts education. I’ve taught at youth performing arts camps & workshops in the San Francisco Bay Area area including the American Conservatory Theatre, working with children with a spectrum of learning differences and/or developmental challenges. In summer 2022, I ran the 14th Street Y’s New Country Pride Camp and TrailBlazer’s Flatbush Day Camp. This past summer, I supervised the Guest Experience Team at a campsite in Yellowstone, developing all-ages programming for the season. If you’re looking for someone to make sure your children marvel at the sunsets, finish their homework, eat their vegetables, and laugh themselves silly I’m glad we’ve met!
