I have been babysitting since I was 16, gaining valuable experience working with families who would contact me for their childcare needs. In addition to babysitting, Ive had the opportunity to work with children in daycare and elementary school environment, with a particular focus on preschool aged children, which is my specialty. I truly enjoy working with children because of their sweet, funny, and entertaining nature, and I love hearing the stories they share. While working in an elementary school, I assisted as a teachers aide, working one on one or with small groups to teach children numbers, the alphabet, and how to be more independent. I also received specialized training on early childhood development, which deepened my understanding of preschoolers and their needs. I am passionate about providing a nurturing and safe environment where children can thrive.
