Hello! My name is Maighdlin, but you can call me Maggie! I have been working with kiddos for eight years as a preschool teacher, working with infants and toddlers in Montessori method classrooms, and as a nanny and house manager. I love to play pretend, play and listen to music, build tents, teach kiddos how to bake and cook explore parks and nature, and read great stories! I have experience working closely with families to achieve individual milestones in social-emotional, large motor, fine motor, and language development Sleep/nap training, toilet training, baby led weaning, working with kids with daily medications or food aversions or allergies, etc. With older kids I strive to work in tandem with parents to achieve consistent routine, independence and life skills, and social emotional development. I believe firmly in learning through play and that the whole world is a giant classroom! In addition to childcare, I also offer house
management, which includes but is not limited to: Laundry (parent and child), meal preparation, organization, scheduling coordination of deliveries and household projects, and grocery shopping. I am also a licensed driver with a clean driving record, have studied early childhood education and development at Minneapolis Community and Technical College, and have taken CPR/AED, first aid training courses. In my free time I love reading and writing books, shing movies, and spending time with husband and our three legged cat!
