While I may not have been paid for it, I have taken care of and looked after many children. There are a lot of kids of various ages, typically toddlers, within my large family ( mainly extensive family ), and as one of the older kids, I have often looked after the younger ones while the parents are away. I even looked after neighbors children for play dates and such. I know how to adapt to children, from being energetic and playing with them when they seek entertainment and being patient when theyre upset or having a tantrum. I am able to stay calm in most situations and act accordingly if any issues arise. I am skilled in many areas such as meal prepping, aiding with homework, even some housework if needed! I find it necessary to form a good bond with not only the children but the parents and the rest of the family as well. To build a good trusting relationship is vital in teamwork so that we can work things out smoothly without any trouble.
