To briefly introduce my experience, I have worked as a youth leader at an after school program through the YMCA . While I was in high school, I played on the varsity basketball team and it was required that we coach an elementary team and hold a league for the kids in our neighborhood. I coached fourth through sixth grade and it was something I loved to do. After high school I went to school for child development but I took another path and became a certified veterinary technician. I have also taken several trainings which were captivating and helped me learn more about children and great activities that will stimulate learning while also creating a fun experience. I love doing art projects and outdoor activities. Im very laid back and have a calm demeanor. Through out my 20s I have been a nanny to 4 different families and loved every bit of it. I was CPR certified and first aid certified. Although I am not currently certified I have retained the knowledge and feel comfortable if ever in such situation.
