I worked in daycare (ages 18 months to 4 years) for a year before leaving because I disagreed with the way they were pushing me to treat the children. I believe strongly in the power of consent and teaching that skill early on in a safe environment to prevent unsafe situations in later life and I refuse to force children to do anything unless it is a safety hazard.
After leaving daycare, I transitioned into a role as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) at a company that matched my personal ideals. I have experience with autistic children as a result. As a disclaimer, I cannot and will not provide clinical services. However, I am perfectly willing and able to work with disabled kiddos.

Rate: $21/hour – $25/hour
