I am currently a sophomore at Colorado State University studying Human and Family Development, and I am seeking summer 2023 employment (open to an extension into school year). I have nannied on and off for 6 years since 2017. I worked for a family for two years (2017-2019) until they moved. I watched 2 boys up to 5 days a week, roughly 5-12 hours, a toddler and an infant. I enjoy creating a safe, fun, loving, and kind environment for children. I understand that each child has their own needs and things that work best for them, and I value going off of their cues! I do not believe in “yelling” or intense punishment if a conflict arises, I believe in explaining the “why’s” behind expectations/rules and creating a learning environment. I love the outdoors, crafts, reading, and experiences! Working with children is fulfilling to me because they are our future, and I want to make them feel heard and understood.
