I have always had interest in nannying and children. I’ve been a babysitter for kids since I was about 12, with a Red Cross and First Aid license. I babysat for the same 4 families for many years with up to 4 kids at a time. My duties included getting the kids ready for school, fed for breakfast & dinner, transportation, entertainment, homework, putting to bed, etc. In high school, I helped raise a newborn baby for 2 years while her mom went to work everyday. I raised a newborn boy until he was 2 afterwards while his parents worked. I raised another boy from 5 mos – 4 yrs old while his dad went to work. I have experience with nannying infant twins (feeding, changing, naps, reading books, soothing) Also, I was involved in Special Needs classes and was paired with many different disabled kids. My main “buddy” was a little 7th grader with epilepsy. Most of my classes were child development based classes all through high school which gave me the knowledge of the different stages of a child growth, behavior, cognition, and etc. In college, i majored in Neonatal, Child Development and Nursing. I am very good with infants and kids in general!
