Hi everyone! Just a little blurb about myself: I am 27 year old, Montclair State University alumni. I am currently looking for work again after being displaced due to my school permanent closure. I have worked in the education field for many years (interned at Scholastic Inc.; volunteered with AmeriCorps as a Teacher’s Assistant in SF Bay Area Middle Schools; assisted and taught in Nursery School-setting, and taught a Kindergarten class remotely during COVID-19 pandemic).

I have an extensive background working with different kinds of populations and capabilities. Since 2013, I have worked at a center for blindness and visual impairment. I started as a counselor/program assistant in this residential camp-setting facility, where I have worked with children and adults with many disabilities, and I have been able to grow with the agency throughout the last few summers. Under the role of Program Coordinator, I was able to work “behind the scenes” and facilitate activity-based enrichment for our blind and visually impaired participants, while managing a team of 35-40 counselors. I am very proud of my accomplishments within this agency.

I work well under pressure. I always aim to succeed. And I absolutely love working with people.
