I have been babysitting children since I was 12 years old. The most children I have babysat was a family of 6 children ranging from 4 months to 12 years old. I babysat for them for 4 years. I have also babysat for 2 families with 3 children each and one with 2 children these were for 5 years. I have also been a nanny for a family of 4 children for 5 years. I have a vast experience taking care of children. I can handle anything that might be thrown at me, I seen and heard it all! I can take care of a newborn from feeding, changing diapers to potty training – I have done it all. I am a college graduate with a teaching certification. I love to help a young mind grow and educate them.
I may not be your typical babysitter, but I’ve never done anything typical! I recently retired from owning a handyman/remodeling company for the past 15 years and before that I was in the restaurant industry!
In my space time I like to sew (my grandmother taught me), I just finished making my 93-yr old mother a quilt!
A little about me, I was raised in San Antonio, TX and went to Southwest Texas State University in San Marcos, TX. My father died when I was 9, so I was raised by my mother who single handedly raised 3 kids in the 70’s! I watched her do without things for herself so her children would have the things they wanted. She was an incredible role model and grateful for that every day. My mom is my best friend and I’m extremely close too although she has stage 6 dementia and doesn’t remember many people anymore but I’m lucky she still remembers me which I’m very thankful for. I have a younger sister who I helped raise and we are thick as thieves, and I thank God for her every day, she is my mother’s caregiver! I had an older brother who passed away in 2024, I have 5 nieces and nephews. As you can see family is very important me and I would not have any other way!
I’m looking for a nanny position or a steady babysitter position. I have my own transportation and pet friendly; I have a 3-year-old miniature schnauzer, who is quite the character!
