Hello, my name is Hannah Jackson! I relocated to Dallas from NW Arkansas last year and I am eager to connect with families in my new community. My background in childcare dates back to amateur babysitting jobs that I picked up on the weekend in high school in between coaching 3-4 y/o in first touch soccer. After graduating high school I began pursuing my bachelors degree in early childhood education at GCU. During this time I was working as a full time preschool teacher at my church and this solidified my desire to work with children. After about a year of teaching full time I accepted a nanny position for a family of four with kiddos aged 6mo. and 3y/o. I absolutely adored my time as a nanny and the experience I gained throughout that time. Around that time I began questioning if education was the right path for me and shortly accepted into a dental assisting program. Since graduating in May of 2023, I have been working as a pediatric dental assistant, providing exceptional care for kiddos having dental work done. I love what I do and being apart of getting kids back into good health, but I do miss the connections I made with children while I was teaching and nannying. I am hoping sittercity can provide some connections so I can get back to doing what I love!
