My name is Valene Pires. I currently have been living in Greenwich for 2 1/2 years. I have been working as a private flight attendant for the last 6 years. I had met a family that I was flying consistently and was approached a few times about nannying. So I took a break from flying and became there full time nanny for 2 years. I worked 40 hours a week and would sleep at there home 2 nights a week. I would in the summer do my hours at their Hamptons home where I would sleep over 2-3 days a week. And we would fly once a month to the Bahamas where I would be the flight attendant and nanny. I was in charge of everything pertaining to the 5yr boy. Waking him up, getting him ready for school. Taking him to and from school. Signing him up to all activities as well as taking him. Going to events at his school. Any family school days I would be the one to attend. Bathing him. Giving him any medicine. Feeding him and giving instruction on his meals. I was with him from 7am till I put him to bed at 8pm.
I also nannyed at a young age growing up on Marthas Vineyard.
I am cpr certified. Part as flying we have to do the training every year and a half.
I also became certified as a health counselor and life coach with the Institute of Ingrative Nutrition.

Additional services: Meal preparation, Laundry, Swimming supervision, and Travel with family.

Rate: $30/hour – $40/hour
