I have always loved working with children and babysitting has been so rewarding throughout my life. Over the past seven years, I have had the privilege of working with children of a wide age range and various abilities, including those with special needs. My goal is to create a safe and fun environment where every child feels supported! This past summer, I nannied for a family with four children (two of whom had speech and/or hearing impairments). I helped the youngest boy with his speech homework along with activities to improve his communication as I watched his confidence grow. I also taught the youngest girl sign basic language to help her express herself until her hearing improved. These experiences strengthened my ability to adapt and create solutions to help these children thrive. In addition to this, I have strong communication and organization skills. I absolutely love finding ways to keep kids engaged through crafts, outdoor activities, or learning games. I aim to provide calm and patient support in tough situations to ensure every child feels understood. Babysitting has taught me lots of responsibility along with the importance of building a relationship with the family. I am extremely passionate about helping children learn and grow in a positive environment and I would love the opportunity to bring this passion into new families!
