My name is Haley and I am a senior studying Speech Language and Hearing Sciences, where I gained understanding of child development, communication, and the importance of early interventions! I want to become a sitter because I enjoy working with children and supporting families in a way that fosters growth, fun, and safety. As one of the oldest grandkids in my family, I’ve had years of experience caring for younger cousins, which has taught me patience and how to engage with kids of different ages. I also spent a year as a newborn hearing screener, where I worked directly with infants and parents, helping ensure early identification of hearing issues and supporting healthy development. Over the summer, I worked at Camp Dream Speak Live, where I had the opportunity to build a connection with kids who stutter. All of these experiences have shaped my passion for helping children thrive, and Im excited to bring my skills and care to families as a sitter.
