Hello! I am Alex and I live in Norwood, Ohio (originally from St. Louis, Missouri).
As a much older sister to a little brother, I always enjoyed taking care of young children. This early exposure to caregiving sparked my interest in nursing and childcare. I find immense joy in watching children grow and develop. Babysitting allows me to create a positive and nurturing environment where children feel safe and loved. The trust that families place in me is something I deeply value and strive to honor every day.
I understand that each child is unique and requires a tailored approach to care which gives me patience and empathy. I keep open lines of communication with both children and parents to ensure everyone’s needs are met. I love coming up with new games and activities that both fun and educational. Qualifications/Training:
- Junior nursing major at Xavier University
- Certified in CPR and First Aid
- Ongoing training in pediatric care as part of my nursing program
Experience:
- over 6 years of babysitting experience
- regularly babysit for two families with children ranging from newborn to 5 years old
- experience with newborn care, including feeding, diapering, and sleep routines
- skilled in engaging toddlers and preschoolers with educational and fun activities
