I currently have 2 nephews, and 1 neice. All 3 love me dearly, and I love them the same. On many occasions, Ive taken care of them, as a child care provider, while their mother was at work. Usually, we always enjoy ourselves. In addition, Ive actually held a position as a school bus driver for special needs and gifted children alike. In every case, Ive built a working rapport with the children and parents, ensuring that all lines of communication were open, and safety was of the utmost. In total, I have 1.5 years of experience dealing with children. The reason why I took on such positions was due to loving children and theres some things that adults cant do, like color or play with playdoe, without looking silly. What makes me good is that I treat every child like my own, I dont do favorites, and Im willing to be flexible and help as much as I can. Keep in mind, never will I fight with a parent about what they feel is best for their child, nor will I attempt to act as if I am the parent. I know my place. All things considered, children have the innocence and purity to see past the things for what they truly are. Besides, a childs joy etches on ones heart. What human being can contend with that?
