Hello,
My name is Shaunquel Winters but all my friends, family, and co workers refer to me as Shay. I am a mother of 2 children, a six year old daughter and a 6-month old son. I am currently an early childhood education teacher with Bright Horizons Family Solutions at Northwestern. My specialty is children birth through school age but during my employment with Bright Horizons I have worked with infants and toddlers. I enjoy these age groups the must because I feel they are learning the world first hand through sensory and they are literally like little “sponges”, soaking up any and everything! Being an early childhood education and both a mother I know first hand how difficult it is to find quality child care and being secure in deciding child care for your child/ren. I am here to ensure you I am just the person to calm your nerves! I am skilled in providing stimulating and age appropriate activities and nutritious meals. I am also certified in CPR by the American Heart Association and I have earned early child hood education credits through Harold Washington College and currently working on an Associates in Social Work and Family Services. I am polite, personable and I will certainly be a mom away from mom. I enjoy children and I truly feel they are our future so it is my pleasure to spend time with them and contribute to their overall success.
