Hello! I started working with children at my church in Dublin, OH. I was in the nursery caring for children three-years and under until I graduated from high school and went off to college. Since then I haven’t done steady child-care work, but was always ready and available for my teachers and fellow students should they need child-care. I also babysat my nephew (now 5) whenever I came home from school.
I am a classically trained actor, having just graduated from London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art with my Master’s. I feel, because of my training in accessing the imagination and pure emotion, I am even more qualified to not only watch over children, but to engage them as well!
I have excellent communication and organization skills, love pets (though I am allergic to cats) and am conversational in American Sign Language. I graduated from high school, undergrad, and gradate school with 3.5+ GPA and am comfortable with helping with homework.
Being a part of a child’s life is a special thing. It is a mutual learning experience, in which I help a child to grow and feel comfortable while parents are away, and a child teaches me something equally important—the lesson is different each time, but is always a joy!
