At my last job, I worked as a general office assistant. In that position, I was responsible for many different tasks ranging from typing, answering phone calls and providing troubleshooting etc. While working in an office, I learned many important new skills. Skills such as working in a fast paced environment, multi-tasking, time management and how to properly communicate with others. As an office assistant, I believe that communication was a very important skill to learn, as I frequently had to interact with a wide range of people. Time management as a skill was also very important, as it allowed me to stay on schedule and complete my assigned tasks on time.
