Hello! My name is Olivia, and I’d love to work with your family! I’m a social worker specializing in youth mental health, but I’m looking for some babysitting work on the side. I started babysitting when I was in junior high, and I have been blessed to be a part of so many amazing kiddos’ caregiving crews. During grad school, I was a nanny for my nephew (3 months – 18 months) and then my niece (4 months – 12 months). I have experience with all ages, from newborns to teenagers, both as a babysitter and as a social worker.

I love to learn about different families’ cultural backgrounds and parenting styles, and I adapt my approach to align with your values, preferences, and routines. I treat every child as an individual with their own unique strengths and areas for support. I love crafts, reading, dancing, imaginative play, and just being silly!

Onto the technical stuff: I hold a BS in Psychology with an emphasis on child development as well as a Master of Social Work. I am CPR (all ages) and First Aid certified through the American Red Cross, and I have undergone many rounds of DCFS background checks for my work. I do not smoke or vape. I am fully vaccinated and will be getting the most recent COVID and the flu shots as well.
