Hi! My name is Megan McCareins, and thank you for reading my profile and considering me as a potential caregiver/nanny/babysitter for your family.

I grew up in Chicagoland and attended Hamilton College, earning my degree in Communications, and I currently reside in Andersonville. My hobbies include playing volleyball, reading, exploring my city, family time, and getting into nature whenever possible (I love to hike and take walks!).

In terms of babysitting experience, I have a long resume. I have worked full time (39 hours a week) for a family with two young children, ages 2 and 7 months. For this family, my responsibilities included cooking kids’ meals, feeding and burping the newborn, changing diapers, cleaning the house and dishes, and taking the kids on daily outings (library, park, beach, ect). I am experienced in infant care! My full time experience also includes babysitting a family of 3 children, all grade school age (1st, 3rd, 6th). For this family, I was responsible for after school care, preparing snacks and dinner, driving the kids to after school activities like gymnastics, and providing homework help. I should also mention I have vast experience in the teaching sector as I was previously a Preschool Teacher, so I have plenty of experience working with children ages 2-5.

I am CPR certified and have been trained in infant care by previous employers.
