I’m a freshman at Loyola University Chicago and I’m living on campus. So I don’t have a car, but I do have a U-Pass for the El and a state driver’s license. I am the oldest of seven so I’ve grown up not only around kids, but also babysitting kids of various ages. My youngest sibling is five years old if that gives you an idea of my experience with my immediate family alone. On top of that, I’ve babysat for numerous families with kids ranging from ages 6 months to 16 years old. With the 16 year old, I was more of a supervisor while I babysat his younger siblings while their parents were away for the week. The most kids I’ve babysat at once is five. I’m fine with pets and I have no allergies. I’m an active babysitter meaning I don’t like to just sit down on the couch and watch TV while the kids I’m babysitting are running around the house. I like to hang out with the kids I’m watching whether that’s playing Barbie or the Wii, or reading favorite books, or watching favorite TV shows, or playing favorite board games around the house. I have no problem helping kids with their homework or school projects, either! References are available upon request!!
