I have eight years of experience in youth development, specifically through leadership in civic engagement and the arts. I have developed and supported youth leadership programs at various nonprofits and foundations.

My babysitting experience stretches back to high school when I babysat regularly for families in my community. I recently returned to babysitting after completing graduate school and moving to Chicago. I have experience caring for 1-3 children at a time and I am experienced and open to help with household chores. I am experienced babysitting kids aged 1-16.

I would love to help children with their homework, as I have tutoring and teaching experience, and I look forward to engaging them in fun art activities because I believe creativity is a form of intelligence that should especially be nurtured within children. I am also a certified yoga instructor and wellness is a huge passion of mine — from yoga, to meditation, to nutrition, I’m all about it! I love to guide children and young adults in wellness activities.

I have always been an active volunteer in my community; for example, I started my own mentorship program when I was in graduate school, I planned and facilitated volunteer trips in Chicago and El Paso, Texas, and went on service-learning trips to Venezuela and Fort Belknap, Montana.

I speak and understand conversational Spanish, although I am a bit rusty.

I have no pets and no children of my own.
