I have lived all over the world, during which I have had the privilege to babysit many families with kids ranging from ages 1-5. Likewise as a result of growing up overseas and having several babysitters/nannies I know the importance of having a friend there when you get home from school to talk to and play games with. During my junior year of high school I worked full-time for a family of four with two kids, a three-year-old boy and a newborn girl. I came over after school. I would play with the kids, take them to the park and keep them entertained then I would feed them dinner and get them to bed on time. During my senior year I became a part-time babysitter, which included working on the weekends for about ranging from 6-12 hours. I am certified to give CPR. My times are very flexible. Each family I have worked for I have established personal connections with the kids that are comfortable and unbreakable. I truly love being with kids. Being a babysitter has taught me to be patient, handle emergency situations efficiently, organize activities, perform housekeeping duties, act quickly in emergency situations, and have good communications as well as interpersonal skills. Overall I would consider myself to be a negotiable, fun, responsible and trustworthy person as a result of being a babysitter.
