Greetings! I am a certified special education teacher in Chicago Public Schools wrapping up my 5th year of teaching. I enjoy enriching the lives of Chicago’s youth and am committed to developing life long learners. In my school community, teachers become more than just an educator. We are nurses, mentors, counselors, and “school parents.” I’m a dedicated teacher who has a heart for kids and desires to develop good citizens.

In addition to my experience teaching children, I worked as a summer camp counselor for 3 years in college at a family camp. I had to opportunity to plan and facilitate programs for children ages 5-11 in morning sessions. I served as a head lifeguard who supervised a group of 5 lifeguards in the afternoons. Working alongside families was a very rewarding and unique camp experience.

I am seeking a summer sitting position to work with children this summer. As an outgoing person, I am looking forward to an active schedule/programming with toddlers and school age children. I am looking forward to serving your family.
