My name is Jasmyn and I absolutely love children! I’ve been working with them for more than 6 years now. I am a senior at North Park University graduating with a degree in Elementary Education and Biology. I have extensive experience and education in child development. I have been a professional camp counselor, tutor, and ECE care specialist. I am bilingual in English and Spanish, as well as CPR and First Aid trained and certified. I have worked alongside Americorps Jumpstart, a non-profit program implemented to encourage literacy based instruction and care to young children in undeserved communities in Chicago. In my most recent position in Chicago Public Schools, I served as second grade language arts student teacher. Most importantly, I truly adore children! I treat each child as if they are my own to give them the best love and care possible. I love encouraging language, the arts, and reading.
