Hello, my name is Jake!

I’m fun, outgoing, kind, creative, love working and helping people, am full of integrity, and often go above and beyond.

I have been a lifetime caregiver for my brother with Down syndrome, and my most recent role was an assistant leading activities for a senior living community.

Education-wise, I have a Master’s Degree in Public Policy and Administration and a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts, aka I am a great tutor, but please don’t have me teach Algebra 2 or Chemistry.

My biggest goal in life was to move to Chicago, and I did it (yay!). I am now deciding whether to become a local elementary school teacher in late fall or an activities director at a senior living community.

As a caregiver, I know how difficult it can be to trust someone with your loved one, and I’m here to tell you it’s okay to take time for yourself, and I’ve got your back.
