Hi, Im Jackie, and Id love to work with you and your children! I have been caring for children since I was 11 years old, when I got my official Babysitters License (including CPR training!) from my local community center. During my early adolescence, my mother remarried and had two children. I absolutely adored being the built-in-babysitter! Im so grateful that during my teen years I had the unique opportunity to care for my younger siblings, watching them grow and play and discover their world. In addition to my care-giving responsibilities as a big sister, through the years I have regularly cared for children as young as infants and up to middle school age. I have worked in public libraries for the past 3 years, and a big part of my job was working with elementary and middle-school aged kids. Working with children is so fun and rewarding, and its something that I am passionate about both personally and professionally.
