I have enjoyed working with children of all ages for over 15 years. I am in my final semester of teacher education and will graduate in May 2015 with teacher certifications/endorsements in Math, Science and Social Sciences. I enjoy outdoor activities, healthy cooking and physical activities. Reading, hiking and swimming are just some of the activities that I enjoy doing with children. I have worked with children in many different ways. I have been a nanny and taken care of children, their pets and households. I have also been a tutor/mentor and assisted with homework and academic achievements. I also have field experience in the classroom where I developed and implemented curriculum and learning activities. I also have experience as a science facilitator for the American Indian community of Chicago where I implemented outdoor, discovery science activities such as plant and tree identification.
