My name is Evelyn. I’m 21 years old. I’m attending Truman College and my major is nursing. I have babysat for one family that had a 6-month-old baby girl, a 3-year-old, and an 11-year-old. My responsibilities were: to cook and feed the baby and kids, I tidied up after the kids, making sure they were spotless clean, always helped the oldest with her homework, and all of them would be in bed by 8 p.m. I really would love the opportunity to help more kids learn and have fun in their childhood. I love doing arts and crafts with kids and I have a lot of patience. In high school, I had a free period where I helped kids that had Down syndrome with their class work and homework.
