During a leadership/sales training I attended this summer, the speaker asked the audience a question I would never forget. “What makes Apple stand out from Microsoft? Both companies sell the same products but what makes Apple succeed?” His answer was this, people buy why you do it, not what you do. There are thousands of qualified candidates in the Chicago area that would make a great caregiver to your child/children. So why choose me? I believe that what makes me stand out is the reason behind the service I provide.

I am passionate about helping others in any way I can. My father was sick for most of my childhood life, so I learned from an early age that the selfless acts of kindness are the ones people remember for a lifetime. Selflessness motivates me to excel in almost everything I do.

I started babysitting when I was just 16. Since then I have watched after several families doing temporary, weekend babysitting. During the summer of 2013 is where I landed a long term summer babysitting position with the Styles family. I watched after their little Jayden for 3 summers. In that time I’ve acted as a nurse, a teacher, and friend, not just to Jayden, but to his mother as well.

I have been CPR certified, but it is currently expired. I am also currently certified in mental health first aid.
