My passion for children begins with my overwhelming love for life. I live everyday with intentions to enjoy every moment and I love to be around kids because they do just that. I have a “kid at heart” mentality, which helps me connect with children easily. This past summer I worked at a day camp, where I was a counselor to about 9-14 7 year old girls. As a camp counselor I was part teacher, part coach, part parent and part doctor. Along with another counselor, we would lead the girls from activity to activity participating in everything alongside them. During down times, it was my job to find ways to entertain and keep everyone happy. These free periods are when my unique ability to connect with the kids became obvious. Along with working at camp, I have been a babysitter for about 7 years. I regularly provided care for my neighbor’s children as they were growing up, 2 young boys (beginning at ages 1 and 7) until they no longer needed care. I have provided care for all ages, including infants. I am excited to be your child’s newest best friend, and give you the satisfaction in trusting your child is in good hands.
