I love being a sitter because it allows me to create safe and supportive spaces for young people. Growing up without older siblings, I always wished I had one to look up to. Instead, I was born the eldest, and I see that as a true blessing. From a young age, I naturally stepped into that role of guidance and care.

I began babysitting at just 8 years old when my mom had to work. It became my responsibility to make sure my younger sister, baby brother, and I got to school and home safely each day. Ive always been the second in command in my household, and caring for others has been a huge part of my life ever since.

Later, when I moved out of my moms house, I started a small babysitting business caring for children of my aunties friends. I looked after three different families, with kids ranging from 9 months to 13 years old. Those experiences deepened my love for caregiving and strengthened my ability to adapt to children of all ages.
