Hello! My name is Crystal, 25 years old and originally from Tampa, FL. I moved to Chicago about 3 years ago to pursue a career in social services. I have worked with babies, children, and young adults professionally since high school; Volunteering at local summer camps, hospitals, and serving with CIty Year Chicago, AmeriCorps. Those also include volunteering at my college’s Early Childhood Education Center, interning at the local youth shelter, and serving in under-resourced schools and communities in Chicago. WIth those experiences I had to become CPR Certified and learn how to act quickly to provide safe learning environments for my students.
I also recently babysat for a family with an 18 month old baby boy for a few months before they moved.

I come from a big family with lots of kids of all ages, so outdoor adventures, playtime, and naptime are already a part of my routine.
I also have a 2 year old niece who is very active and in her exploration phase that I have had the pleasure of being a part of. I only wish I could see her more often!
